Thyme leafs contain anti fungal compounds that help to eliminate the fungus that causes athletes foot. To use thyme, add two tablespoons to a cup of boiling water and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. Strain the leaves out and let cool down completely. Use a cotton ball to soak the thyme water and apply between your toes. I have found this works better than some topical treatments from the pharmacy, not to mention is more economical.

Ginger is also a powerful plant that helps with many symptoms especially an upset stomach and nausea. Similar to how you made your thyme tea, cut up some ginger slices and add to boiling water, letting it steep for 15 minutes. Please keep in mind ginger is a very strong root so a little goes a long way and you want to drink the tea when it is warm. Black pepper might make you sneeze when you take a wiff of it, however it will also help you to control a cough. Black pepper helps to work as a decongestant when used with honey. When I make my black pepper remedy I add a teaspoon of it to my tea when it's boiling hot and let it steep for 10-15 minutes. After its steeped add honey to taste and drink twice a day to help reduce coughing.
